  1. Horrible! I don’t understand why MRI and Ultrasound isn’t used instead? Maybe the cost of X-Ray machinery is cheaper?

    1. X-rays are cheaper, and transportable for superficial diagnostics. CT scans and MRI are of much greater higher detail and the machines are not transportable – they’re huge! The benefits of x-rays are immeasurable.

  2. The levels of exposure to radiation I feel are much higher now when you consider the amount of WIFI, overhead power lines, electronic devices within our work, home and even travel environment. How many times do people walk through X-Ray machines en route to a tropical destination. Even driving in a car with onboard computers, electronic controls, and now electric vehicles, where the seat sits above a chassis sized lithium battery The wheels spinning in some of these vehicles produce electrical charging for the battery meaning that you are exposed to EMF radiating throughout the interior of the vehicle. It brings a whole new meaning to the term,”car sick”.
