I saw an ad on Twitter today for organic chips fried in *beef tallow*. That was a new one for me. I’ve seen ads for chips fried in coconut oil. When you do a little digging, though, these things are always so outrageously expensive. I would expect prices to come down as demand grows. I see a lot of competition in the pastured-eggs category now.
IMHO, Danny got too emotional about his perception that Georgi failed to defend the reputation of Ray and Progest-E. Georgi was in the middle of an interview with a high-profile doctor. Georgi probably wasn’t analyzing the nuance of what Mercola was saying. And even more probably wasn’t in the mind-set of someone expecting to argue or debate. Georgi deserved the benefit of the doubt from a friend. Georgi’s track record is stellar. He is the premier spokesman for Ray Peat’s body of work and current research. He sell supplements, but I truly believe he is doing it to improve the world. He does not do the hard sell. He often has told people how to make your own mixtures or suggests substitutes.
RFK Jr. has been talking about chemtrails, fluoride, vaccines, and toxic foods, with a big emphasis on seed oils. This is all very good. He has a Peaty ring to his messaging. I have even seen him mention that the benefits of psychedelics should be examined. So I would bet he knows Ray’s work. But to mention Ray would be getting too far into the weeds for the general public. They keep it simple for the normies. I don’t have a big problem with that.
But when I consider it has taken until the year 2024 for someone prominent to mention chemtrails and seed oils, that makes my blood boil. RFK Jr. was cleaning up the Hudson River for years and years. All well and good. But what about those even bigger issues he was well aware of? But he’s all we’ve got right now. I do believe Trump agrees with him on all these health issues. This territory has been assigned to him to publicize and explain. Let’s hope changes are made soon. I want the chemtrails gone on Day One. (Pet peeve.)
I’ll post this here, hat tip @J.R.K., for completeness. There is some discussion in the comments that this is not a new interview; it was done about a year ago. I have not figured out if it has ever been posted on Youtube before. Why would they have waited a year?
Someone in the comments implies Danny will not be interviewing Georgi again. Please gentlemen, mend your fences. You two are two good guys in this mess. Don’t let the creeps win.

A long time ago, I wanted to learn to make really good coffee. I found advice on the old Chowhounds board that African coffee was so much better than Colombian and others. I ended up ordering some fairly pricey Kenyan coffee from Peet’s. I really liked it, and I remember getting compliments from dinner guests who had no idea what they were drinking. The quality was that striking.
Alas, Peet’s no longer carries that coffee. And my nose and palate were damaged with “Covid.” I still enjoy coffee a lot, though.
I have been eating a lot of raw apples because I love rock-hard new-crop apples in the fall. I think the pectin has not been a problem. Gut is good, and I feel good.
