Any carbohydrates you eat will get converted to sugar, it just takes the body longer to converted it. Your body will convert protein to sugar if it doesn’t get enough carbohydrates. May as well save your body the trouble and just eat a simpler sugar like raw honey, fruit or plain white sugar.
