Thank you @Zack-Vegas for your reply. I forwarded it to my friend.
@J.R.L This video you posted above is how I am thinking nowadays, kess is better. I don’t take vitamins and other supplements anymore. When I stopped them to add back in one at a time to test if one might be causing issues that I was having at the time I never got the chance to add any back in because I felt great stopping them. I think it is like Ray Peat said that they can be helpful for a specific problem for a short time and then stop when the problem resolves. Just like drugs taking high amounts of one causes imbalances in other places and nothing is really high quality nowadays with so many nefarious extras in everything.

My friend told me that her friend credits conquering her breast cancer by eating cherimoya every day.@J.R.L I haven’t got to the part on keto and carnivore being a good diet yet and just the opposite. Here is an excerpt of what I read yesterday…

@J.R.L there are so many good reasons for eating raw garlic, here are a couple reasons why I am wanting to eat it.

@J.R.L I am only on the 2nd chapter of his book which is talking about the cause of gut issues which I agree with so far. I don’t know if I will agree with everything from a Ray Peat perspective, but no matter his way is better than what the world is promoting.
@J.R.L I have been reading a lot about gut health and I think that finding things that can survive the journey through the thirty-some feet of intestines to kill the bad bacteria is more important than what good is there. Even Ray Peat said a neutral gut is best. Yesterday I mashed up a whole head of raw garlic with about 6-tablespoons of grass-fed butter and added in lots of fresh grown basil and the zest of a lemon too. I ate about half of it myself raw on fresh-made sourdough and it was delicious medicine! Raw garlic can survive the intestinal journey and my extra ingredients have their own gut benefits. It was already half gone before I thought to take the second photo.

@J.R.L it is just the opposite Johnn, on outdoor sunny days I want the simple grilled rare ribeye whereas in the cold winter months I like heavier food like pot roast and heavy potato dishes like scalloped potatoes. Interesting you saying that you notice the difference with just incandescent lights while I notice the opposite. When my father came into my house and changed all my bulbs to LED, saying it would save me so much money, I could not get through a day with them. They made me really aggravated. I changed them all back right away.
