The primary way I get my minerals is from fruit and I mostly get my fruit from soaking frozen fruits. The only fresh fruit I am eating nowadays is the fruit I grow. I like making fruit waters, which I sweeten with white sugar, because I can get a big variety of them. Making them with frozen fruit gives me the freedom to mix and match them however and whenever I choose instead of having fruit degrade on the counter until I can get to them. I make so many different combos and I love every one of them.
I just put my fruit in my glass pitcher and add extras like citrus peels usually and in this one fresh rosemary from my garden and add filtered water. I make it one day and it is ready the next day. I had to laugh at this photo today which I sent to a friend. She said it looked refreshing and I replied, “It looks like a fish tank massacre.” Doesn’t that stray orange peel look like a giant worm! I was laughing so hard today over this photo! It is delicious though! These fruit waters are so good for keeping my weight in check and I can really tell that my skin loves them too. These fruits waters and corn and soy free egg yolks are my best supplements.
“Many fruits (including peaches, plums, and tropical jack fruit) are deficient in tryptophan, yet have very significant quantities of the other amino acids. They also contain some of the “carbon skeleton” (keto-acid) equivalents of the essential amino acids, which can be converted to protein in the body.”
