@yelka I remember my mother telling me about her mother, who when old and ailing with kidney failure, had foul breath. So perhaps a kidney issue?

I have been experiencing a wonderful weight loss, finally! These things seem to be a bit mysterious with me, but it might have to do with getting a potent bottle of thyroid supplement. I was feeling my heart beating strongly on three drops of Tyromax. Then I thought that might be starting to keep me from sleeping well. I brought it down to two drops a day. My mood is very good, I am not very hungry or always peckish, as before. I also have been doing bike riding instead of walking. Aiming for a 20- to 30-minute ride twice a day instead of an hour’s walk. (Walking can be dull, and hot.) Cooked broccoli works for me sort of in place of the carrot salad. I feel no ill effects though Ray sort of frowned on it. Keep on tweaking!

@yelka you might consider looking at your protein intake levels overall. If protein is excess of your biological needs it can go to the large intestine and purtrificate. You could try backing off on the protein and increase carbohydrates in its place or add a little more fat to preserve the carbohydrate but sustain satiety over longer periods of time if hunger pangs are an issue.

            Thanks for all the replies!

@Cari I think my transit time is fine. I go between 1 and 3x a day. @J.R.L I think is right. I might be overdoing the protein. Perhaps add more fruit juices or pulp to my daily routine (the latin market sells frozen tropical fruit pulps). Less lamb. I agree that something is going on in the gut that I have to fix. Perhaps a tabouli salad without wheat every once in a while. I tried rosemary tea yesterday and today. I chewed a parsley sprig. Regardless, I want to add the chlorella to the mix. I remember using chlorella at one time, in powder form, dissolved into my morning OJ. I might still have some in my cabinet. I want everyone to know how much I appreciate everyone’s insights! I hope it’s not my kidneys!

Today I have not had access to my kitchen so all I have had today was my morning coffee with whole milk and maple syrup, a cup of raw milk which had the zest of an organic orange soaking in it since yesterday and I added maple syrup to it and now two cups of cold raw milk with a big spoonful of raw honey on the side and I feel great. I could get by easily on this limited food. I have no interest in food today feeling this light in my stomach. Times when I have to be away from home I take an organic Mexican Coke in a glass bottle with me and I don’t get hungry sipping on it for two to three hours. With all this said here and having experience in the lemonade fasting for up to days often I find sugar sources minus the fiber from fruit to be very energizing and slimming. I cannot say the same about grains and other starchy fruits and vegetables. I think milk and sugars are an excellent combination to rev up the metabolism and slim down without losing muscle tone.
