A Bright Life Inspired by Dr. Raymond Peat
Tagged: gut health
I started doing an antibiotic protocol at the beginning of this year, and it’s been good so far. I have been using the tetracyclines/penicillin/erythromycin types, along with cyproheptadine and a biofilm disruptor. I’ve also been no starch, using AC about once a week, and doing occasional flowers of sulphur rounds, and experimenting with some of the ideas in the Lassesen protocol. No negatives other than minor GI issues, and there seems to be some positives, in terms of weight loss and improved energy. I never thought I had “bad” digestion, but when I took cypro for a long time back in 2021, I noticed a marked improvement. The early results from this are suggesting it’s going to improve even more. I am going to try Mutaflor at some point, which itself seems to be a sort of “antibiotic” style probiotic (kinda like phages).
I may have mentioned earlier, I’ve had weight issues since I was a kid, and know I used to have a high iron level. These might have caused some “occult” infections, and I don’t doubt my “gut biome” has always been off (probably with higher amounts of total bacteria). I already decided that this is going to be a 2-4 month experiment, and it’s going very well so far.
