    I think that these conversations are to simplified in that they are only looking at dietary sugar intake and matching that with the symptom of high blood sugar associated with diabetes.
    There is no separation of Type one diabetes and Type two diabetes which are two totally different conditions in their root causes.
    I think that if the RFK wants to educate the public, talking about cortisol, would be a good start, but also distinguishing between a nutrient dense piece o ripe fruit or fresh squeezed fruit juice, and refined sugar would be a good place to start. He could then tie in the role that the seed oils play in the conversion of sugars to fat. As well as how the resulting chronic inflammation contributes to the condition.

    As a caveat to my above statement I acknowledge that RFK may need to be brought up to speed on this issue. But it is progress nonetheless.
