I heard only a brief part of RFK’s sugar talk. Maybe he did get more nuanced at some point. But I definitely heard “sugar is poison.” He could have meant, but not expressed, the idea that genetically modified, glyphosate-soaked sugar is poison.
I am not overly worried about his vaccine words. I think he is generally Peat-aligned on vaccines but cannot say everything he feels at this point. And when I talk to my vaxed friends, generally logical people in most other aspects, I can understand why. Many (most?) of these types are dug in to their belief in the integrity of doctors and the efficacy of modern medicine. One friend who has many doubts about modern medicine (believing chemotherapy hastened her father’s death) is vaxed and has expressed to me no doubts about that. People still don’t seem ready for this truth.
