I had to reassess my feeling that RFK Jr. was a Peat follower. I saw a clip a few days ago where he was saying, I paraphrase, “Sugar is poison, and its overconsumption is responsible for the diabetes epidemic.” Neither statement aligns with Peat.
The other day, Kennedy was talking about eliminating “petroleum-based food dyes.” I had never heard that term before. It’s seemed a good way to raise people’s awareness of bad ingredients. Sounds toxic! Reverse marketing.
