    One of the biggest issues in the
    health of people nowadays is grains. It is a touchy subject and I am not even going near anyone’s bread or oatmeal to take it away, but instead suggest to minimize the damage from it with a swap. First know that our grains are not what our grandparents ate. Besides the glysophate, aka “Round-up”, used in growing and killing the wheat, to dry it quicker for market, it has also been scientifically altered. This altered state leaves the wheat with larger chromosomes than the original had and our bodies just don’t now how to use this “Frankenwheat” and so it causes inflammation and chaos in the body. The younger people may not notice this downward spiral immediately, but they will eventually. Knowing this I don’t eat non-organic wheat at all and at home for special occasions I make my flour things with the original “Einkorn” heirloom wheat. I buy the all-purpose flour. It is feels so much better than the gluey stuff that is destroying health and teeth. I made these pear tarts with it for Thanksgiving. These have been a holiday request from my sons and others for at least three decades. They are like a better apple pie, but with cream in the filling. These keep in the fridge for days and I like heating them in the oven on a cookie sheet with a pat of butter on top. These are indescribably delicious! Don’t be mad at the messenger now on this wheat issue, carry on!
