This milk frosty is not only good, but it is satisfying. Since calcium is key to losing weight, this has a whole lot of it. You can make this as low-fat as you want. Make my “no cream or yolks” quick ice cream recipe, which is on my RECIPES page, with low-fat ice cream and this is perfect weight loss yum! Even me making my ice cream with whole raw milk and pouring more over the ice cream is still low-fat. Making my ice cream with whole milk has 11-grams fat, 11-grams protein, 35% calcium, for a little under a one-cup serving, adding in 3/4 cup of milk brings the total to 17-grams of fat, 17-grams of protein and roughly 60% of the RDA recommendation for calcium! Make the ice cream and frosty with 2% milk and wow this is really low-fat! This frosty is a cross between a milkshake and an Icee. Put the ice cream in a mug and pour milk over it and give it a little stir. The milk forms ice crystals. It is so good! Losing weight isn’t about suffering, for me it is has been about strategizing. Have this frosty as a meal replacement, not a snack or dessert. Your welcome!
“In recent years there have been studies showing that regular milk drinkers are less fat than people who don’t drink it. Although the high quality protein and saturated fat undoubtedly contribute to milk’s anti-obesity effect, the high calcium content is probably the main factor.” -Ray Peat
