A Bright Life Inspired by Dr. Raymond Peat
“Hello! I have followed you and you’re recipes for a awhile on the Ray Peat Forum. I was wondering if you’d have meal ideas for postpartum? I am due with my first tomorrow(!) and am trying to strike the balance between Ray Peat type of metabolic eating and warm nourishing foods like the “first 40 days”. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.”
I was in the hospital for a couple of days eating hospital food. Spicy food is a definite no if you are nursing or anything with garlic. For hormonal reasons I would avoid chicken and pork and stick to beef, lamb and seafood. I would also avoid grains except for those sourdough reasons I sent you the link for. I will go find some more ideas for you! Congratulations Baby Mama!
