This recipe is looking really good to me!
A kind of Peaty thing I do with zucchini is to cut away a lot of the seedy white center. Ray frowned on seeds, and the center is so watery anyway.

If your tomato purée does not have added basil and especially if it is fresh from the garden canned you can make salsa with it. A great many Mexican restaurants use canned tomatoes to make their salsa. You can add a few fresh tomatoes to the batch to make it chunky.
Ah… wasn’t aware basil could be problematic. I’m guessing in frequent amounts it is harmful.
