Some brands of baking powder say “no aluminum” right on the front. Of course, always check. I wonder if the aluminum is a modern addition. Frozen pizzas and packaged shredded cheeses often have aluminum, too. To keep the texture, prevent lumping.
In today’s food industry as a consumer it is wise to always read the labels carefully. Even then question everything.
