<span class=”atwho-inserted” contenteditable=”false” data-atwho-at-query=”@Lol”>@Lollipop </span>it seems the usual suspects, low magnesium, Vitamin C, and selenium, high PUFA, iron, and stresses causing compensatory gluconeogenesis, as well as mentioning the polyunsaturated fats do indeed lower cholesterol levels, Dr Peat also noted that other toxins have the same effect, yet this is not mentioned by those that market the polyunsaturated fats.
The data that the Russians discovered on cholesterol causing atherosclerosis was based upon a study done on rabbits. Dr Peat did note though that this reaction is exclusive to rabbits when they are fed cholesterol. I would have to wonder then is this data relevant to human health?
