Given that our current supply chain allows us the privilege to have access to all types of foods regardless of season, and in terms of our evolution this is still a relatively new phenomenon in comparison to the way our ancestors had to prepare for the changing of seasons especially in the hemispheres further away from the equator.
The changes in the environment due to seasonal change specifically shorter durations of sunlight as well as colder temperatures speak to that innate inner wisdom that we all have had passed down from the long experiences of our ancestors to survive is still present albeit perhaps we are less connected to it than we should be in the so called modern societies. But I would say that given there is no way that there is no way I could possibly know what your nutritional status is given your desire for more of these animal based proteins I would speculate that your bodies innate wisdom is reacting to the shorter daylight periods along with the cooler temperatures perhaps even the magnetic signal from the tilt of the Earth causing the seasonal changes to possibly prepare you for what your ancestors experienced historically as one of the biggest survival challenges that being winter.
