A long time ago, I wanted to learn to make really good coffee. I found advice on the old Chowhounds board that African coffee was so much better than Colombian and others. I ended up ordering some fairly pricey Kenyan coffee from Peet’s. I really liked it, and I remember getting compliments from dinner guests who had no idea what they were drinking. The quality was that striking.
Alas, Peet’s no longer carries that coffee. And my nose and palate were damaged with “Covid.” I still enjoy coffee a lot, though.
