Who would this “some” be?
The issues with fraud and regulatory capture were widely discussed long before anyone heard the words “Novel Corona Virus.” Not just in places like RPF or the ancestral health “blogosphere,” but it often in “regular” discussions with “regular” people, and even in mainstream shows and movies. Like this clip from Boston Legal (aired from 2004-2008), where John Laroquette’s character goes on for a minute and a half about the FDA’s failures-
The weird thing about the past four years is that so many critical people and voices did a complete about face, and didn’t just go along with authorities grudgingly, because there was a “pandemic” (a “pandemic” which never rose to the threat of cancer, heart disease, or even the regular threat of all respiratory disease in a normal year), but did so enthusiastically, and seemed to get rid of all their previous beliefs and convictions, even in the absence of any sort of compelling evidence.
